Extended Care
St. Eugene's Extended Daycare Program
Purpose
The extended daycare program is provided by the school to serve the students who need extended hours of supervision after the regular school day. It serves the families whose children are enrolled in St. Eugene’s School in kindergarten through the eighth grade. In a Christian setting; we seek to provide a positive after-school experience with recreation and enrichment activities to meet the needs of every student.
*SPECIAL HOURS
On early dismissal days (12:30 or 2:30pm) the daycare reopens at 11:20am until 5:00pm. The daycare closes at 3:00pm on the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter vacation. The daycare will not be in operation on the last day of school.
Schedule
The daycare program includes supervised indoor and outdoor play, homework study time, quiet and active game periods, and crafts. There is a balance between structure and free time. The children’s needs, interests, and grade levels are considered in the planning and design of the after school activities.
Registration
Any child using the extended daycare must be registered. The registration form includes information about designated persons picking up the child and emergency release authorization. There is a registration fee along with monthly billing separate from the school tuition.
